Through our experience in developing software alongside semiconductor hardware developers within a manufacturer, we have acquired extensive knowledge of semiconductor devices, open-source software, and industry standards, as well as skills in algorithm and software development. We view our ability to leverage these to build highly efficient, high-quality device systems as a unique skill set, which we call Device System Integration (DSI) skills.
Digital technologies that enrich our lives such as cloud computing, IoT, 5G, and AI are made possible by continuous innovations in semiconductor device technology. These advancements are expected to accelerate even further in the future. Consequently, embedded development is becoming increasingly sophisticated and complex, highlighting the challenge of an engineer shortage caused by an explosive increase in development workloads.
In light of this situation, we aim to systematize our assets including our broad knowledge, experience, and development skills to create a framework that contributes to the future society. By widely sharing with society the joy of turning ideas into reality and efficient embedded development skills that our engineers know well, we aim to create a world in the not-too-distant future where anyone can engage in embedded development with excitement.
